This vintage-inspired wedding shoot by Meraki Photography is a great example of using rich, sumptuous elements in a natural environment. It's a fantastic reminder that a wedding on a beach doesn't have to be boho, it can also be glamorous, or anything else you want!
The photographer says:
The stylized shoot was put together in only a couple of weeks. I knew a few other local creatives were itching to break the long winter funk, so we just decided to make something happen.
We chose the style of dress from Alicia's Bridal and Formal House first, and then created a style around that.
ith the dessert I decided I wanted to showcase some local talent that could not only make amazing cakes, but desserts as well. With so many weddings getting ideas off of Pinterest, we wanted to show that original, unique choices are out there also. The pana cotta helped round out that vintage feel and deep color pallet of the furniture.
Meghan, of Flourish Floral design, went with the perfect simple and pretty flower crown, and Laurel Bosman created a look that could easily transform. The hair was a couple quick bobby pins from the bottom half being loose, flowing curls. We have so much local talent, and it was really fun to explore the possibilities brides and grooms have at their fingertips!
