We love the navy stripes and Sperry tent that lend this classic wedding a touch of nautical flair. And the ring-bearer's sign is just about the cutest thing we've ever seen.
But more than that, we adore how Ashley and David made fun such a big part of their wedding. They seem to be laughing through the whole day, and we can't get enough of it!
The couple lives in NYC now but David is originally from North Carolina and the accents coming from his friends and family was such a great throwback to my own Grandfather’s gentle drawl.
Ashley and David personalized the wedding with University of North Carolina custom corn-hole beanbags, a sake barrel bash (to honor the bride’s Japanese heritage), a moonshine toast (to honor the groom’s southern heritage), musical triangles for the groom’s niece and nephew to ring to signal dinner, a seafood extravaganza from Herban Feast, and the biggest customized touch – a Sperry tent.
Sperry tents are legendary on the East Coast as they are made in the tradition of sailboat sails and their iconic wooden beams just exude celebration! With no Sperry tents in Washington, the couple arranged for this gorgeous tent to arrive from Berkeley, California. The night ended with fireworks.
