Katheryn at Katheryn Moran Photography sent us this adorable vintage sweet shop-inspired shoot at Maplehurst Farms, and we're so excited to share it with you!
We think this is the perfect inspiration for an engagement or bridal shoot. It's sweet (no pun intended), retro and totally fun.
Lots of fantastic local vendors collaborated to create this sugary shoot - take a look after the photos to find out who.
Katheryn says: I have been working in the wedding field as a local photographer for three years now and as a family, engagement and lifestyle photographer for five. One of my favorite parts of weddings has always been photographing the desserts, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to connect with local dessert vendors and pull together a shoot of all my favorite things.
It took some time to track down vendors that had the ability to supply different styles of desserts and then we really had to hone in on a color scheme and vintage design. I had shot a wedding at Maplehurst a few months prior and knew that space would work perfectly - the old china, tea cups, milk glass, wood rounds, long wooden shelves and old antique furniture were the perfect backdrop for this shoot.
Our model was a friend of mine who happily agreed before she knew we would be shooting all day in 40 degree weather! I really enjoyed working with each of these vendors and am really happy with the results! It was a fun shoot to pull together (and sweet, too!).
