Getting to know Ciao Thyme Catering!
What made you get into catering?
We opened Ciao Thyme Catering in 2001. We loved the idea of being part of people’s special celebrations and having the flexibility to write custom menus for each client. Seasonal cooking and a constantly evolving menu seemed to be a perfect match for catering.
What kind of food do you specialize in catering?
We specialize in seasonal fare that highlights local farmers and producers. It is prepared using a variety of methodologies. We cook and assemble dishes on-site to bring the freshness of the ingredients to life in a-la-minute style!
What make your catering different from others?
We write custom menus for each client based on their vision and the season. We then bring the equipment necessary to cook on-site and offer our menus on artist made platters with wood serving utensils.
What is your favorite part about catering for weddings?
We enjoy seeing our clients’ visions come to life—each wedding is unique in its design, ceremony elements, guests and menus. Our work stays vibrant and interesting because of the great variety.

Our wedding advice, hire great vendors so that you don’t have to sweat the small stuff. Your wedding day should be about marrying the person you love most!
