Q & A with Greenbank Farm
Tell us the story behind Greenbank Farm.
Built in the early 1900s the Greenbank Farm is a truly special place on Whidbey Island, rich in history. Originally developed as dairy farm, it was once the largest loganberry farm in the United States, as well as a winery. Now the farm boasts the restored, iconic 1904 heritage barn, beautiful gardens, acres of scenic walking trails, bird watching, a wine shop, cheese shop, and home décor shop along with two art galleries.
What is special about this venue?
With white-washed walls, original beams and posts and ample space, our restored 1904 heritage barn provides an idyllic space for intimate gatherings or large celebrations. Surrounded by picturesque gardens and scenic views, Greenbank Farm offers you the perfect location for your special day.
What particular amenities do you offer?
Greenbank Farm offers indoor and outdoor spaces for your event, as well as a large parking area for your guests. Our barn can comfortably host approximately 200 guests for sit-down or buffet-style reception dinners. Both the main floor and barn loft offer space for less formal appetizer or desert receptions, dancing, and for indoor ceremonies in the event of inclement weather. The barn loft can also double as a dressing area for the bride and her ladies earlier in the day. We offer the use of our prep kitchen and fiber optic wi-fi the day of the wedding, as well as banquet tables and white padded chairs. They say that no barn wedding is complete without string lights and vintage wine barrels, both of which we offer at no additional charge. We encourage you to let your personalities shine during your special day at Greenbank Farm. With no pre-approved vendors list, you are able to bring in your own décor, food, and music for a personal touch on your day to remember.
