What is the story behind Crave Catering?
Crave Catering was formed by four friends who each had a unique passion for food, beverage, and quality service. Eventually, three of the partners moved on to other projects and Pamela Felke took helm and substantially grew Crave Catering into the gem that it is today.
What kind of food do you specialize in?
Crave does a lot of beautiful food, but our absolute favorite is farm to table fare. The Pacific Northwest is rich with flavor; Whatcom and Skagit county, our hyper local area has an abundance of agriculture – farming, ranching, and supple waterways. We love sourcing local, fresh ingredients and feeding our clients and guests from our heart.
What is your favorite part about catering for weddings?
We take heart in being a large part of all significant life events. Seeing our clients and their guests smiling and having an amazing time feels really great; truly, our passion lies in helping our clients. We will always go the extra mile to make their occasion even more special.
What is something unique about your services?
One of the things that sets Crave Catering apart from other catering companies, is that in addition to pre-developed menus, we take the time to sit with our clients and create individualized menus that suit their desires, specific tastes, and dietary restrictions. We are lucky to have an amazing chef that can blow clients away with everything from very restricted vegan/gluten free menus, to American barbecue, to flavors of Malaysia; there is nothing that we cannot do to accommodate a dream.
Crave Catering prides ourselves on being a one-stop-shop catering company. We can provide your bar services, rentals, and service needs. We also have amazing relationships with local venues and vendors, and can coordinate those services for clients.
What is your favorite dish to prepare at weddings?
We love grilling up fresh local salmon, the kind that just melts in your mouth, served with a side of chimichurri sauce with bright herbs direct from our own gardens.
