Q & A with Let's Go Sig

What made you get into photography?

I got into photography because I’ve always been in love with nostalgia and storytelling—the magic of freezing a moment, and the way a single image contains an entire world of feeling. Photography is the medium that lets me honor this love with artistry and depth.

I started Let’s Go Sig to empower my couples with imagery that feels unmistakably like them—not the perfected version, but the true, breathing, wholehearted version. I want them to see their photos and feel recognized and re-enchanted by their own lives. To hang an image on their wall and think, “That’s the life I built. That’s the love I get to wake up and choose every single day.”

At its core, my work is about perspective—capturing the sacred, the timeless, and the beautifully ordinary moments that make a story worth celebrating. I photograph so my couples can return to their memories and find inspiration in feeling something real every single time.

How did you get into wedding photography?

I found my way into wedding and elopement photography almost accidentally, in the most serendipitous, heart-led way. I photographed a friend’s wedding early on, and something inside me clicked: This sense that I was witnessing people on one of the most honest, electric, and emotionally-charged days of their lives. It felt sacred to me, stepping into a living, breathing story and being trusted to tell it well.

Weddings are a perfect blend of nostalgia, meaning, and human connection, the exact things I’ve always been drawn to. I realized quickly that documenting love wasn’t just something I enjoyed; it was where my artistry feels most at home.

What started as a single experience became a calling. These days capturing intentional, story-driven wedding imagery is the heart of everything I do with Let’s Go Sig.

What do you love about photographing weddings?

I’m a hopeless romantic, and I love capturing the living story of a wedding day. It’s told in quiet glances, unfiltered laughter, trembling hands, and the kind of emotions that can’t be staged. Couples who are committed to an intentional wedding experience show up to be fully present, and I have the honor of bearing witness to that closeness, devotion, and joy from just a few feet away.

I love the in-between moments—the ones you don’t plan for but end up meaning everything in the end. Photographing weddings and elopements lets me honor those fleeting, extraordinary moments with intention. It’s storytelling at its most raw, human, and heartfelt. Having couples place that kind of trust in me, to preserve a day that becomes part of their family’s legacy—it’s the part of this work I’ll never take for granted.

What is unique about your wedding photography?

What makes my wedding photography unique is the perspective I bring to storytelling. I’m not just documenting a day—I’m translating the emotional undercurrent of your relationship into imagery that feels lived-in and deeply personal. I want my clients to look at their wedding photographs and truly see themselves, honored and celebrated for who they are.

My approach is rooted in presence. I don’t manufacture your wedding day story; I hold space for you to be yourselves and let the truth of your connection lead the way. This results in imagery that looks like your love actually feels—honest, artful, nostalgic, and rich with meaning.

I’m always seeking to capture the in-between: the micro-expressions, the tender gestures, the magic that happens when you forget the camera is there. I pair that emotional intuition with a strong editorial eye, giving you photographs that feel timeless and elevated—images worthy of your walls and your legacy.

My work is equal parts artistry, intuition, and intention; that’s the combination that makes Let’s Go Sig imagery unmistakably its own.

What is your favorite wedding moment you have captured?

It’s hard to choose a single favorite moment, because every wedding has one instant that takes my breath away, but there’s one type of moment I return to again and again, and that’s the moments a couple quietly carves out for just the two of them. Sometimes it’s a first look, or a private first dance, a tucked-away champagne toast, or a quiet walk together in between events. Whatever the setting, it’s always the same kind of magic: a pause amongst the whirlwind where they get to be fully present with each other.

I love these moments because everything else fades—the timeline, the guests, the noise—and what’s left is the reason we’re all there in the first place. You can see it in how their shoulders soften, when their voices drop to a whisper, in the way they instinctively reach for each other. It’s how they find grounding in the exhale, in the “this is us” moment.

Those pockets of stillness are where the real story lives. And capturing that tender, unguarded connection—two people basking in their love—is always, without fail, my favorite part of a wedding day.
